I applied for a job as a veterinary technician/assistant at a 24-hour animal hospital in Charlotte, NC. The application had some weird questions like how was your college financed. I don't see how that is any of their business. I just left it blank because that probably wouldn't be helpful in getting the position. I also got a letter from Orange County, NC saying that they got my application. But they also said that it could take up to two months to be contacted for an interview so I'll have to keep searching for other jobs while I wait. Even though that is the job I really want.
I watched the U-17 game between the USA and Italy and lets just say the game was far from boring. We ended up winning 3-1. Our passing was so much better than the last game. We were good at pressuring when we lost the ball. There were a lot of yellow cards handed out and one red card to one of the Italians. I didn't see what happened but the assistant referee called the ref over and then a red card was handed out. Their coach was also sent to the stands. We had a goal called back for no reason as well as I could tell. All of our goals came off of free kicks. Then after the game was over a bit of a fight broke out. I couldn't tell what American was involved but the Italian was really upset and his teammates had trouble keeping him away. The one goal we gave up was a really bad mistake from our keeper. It was also on a FK and the ball went over everybody's heads and our keeper seemed to think it was going wide, but it hit the post and went in. He has yet to look comfortable on any crosses. When he leaves his line he needs to make sure to be confident and get the ball.
Well, that was a very disorganized way to explain a game.
